TIL NRBQ served as the unofficial house band for The Simpsons seasons 10-12. Head writer Mike Scully was a big fan of the band and featured their music multiple times. Also NRBQ played the original song Mayonnaise and Marmalade and performed in the end credits for the episode "Take My Wife, Sleaze"
