TIL about Hanatarash, a Japanese noise band that used power tools, drills, and heavy machinery as their instruments. In 1985, at one of their shows, the frontman Yamantaka Eye drove through the back wall of the venue with an excavator and proceeded to throw a molotov cocktail at the wreckage.
