TIL that the killer of Jacob Wetterling, an 11-year-old boy who was kidnapped in 1989 and went missing for 26 years, was actually questioned by the FBI less than two months after the boy’s abduction, but was let go. In 2016, he confessed to the killing – but he will not be charged.
