TIL that in 1955 Henry Winokur worked with brother-in-law William Rosenberg to found Dunkin’ Donuts (now Dunkin’). In 1956 he broke his partnership with Rosenberg and founded Mister Donut with his son-in-law. Today Mister Donut is the largest donut chain in Japan with over 1,300 stores.
