TIL Roger Taylor was so fond of his song “I’m in Love with My Car” that he urged Freddie Mercury to allow it to be the B-side to “Bohemian Rhapsody”, to the point where he locked himself in a cupboard until Mercury agreed. The song ended up generating equal royalties just because it was the B-side.
