TIL Olympia, Washington's Chinatown was once known as "Locke Town" as Chinese residents were predominantly from the Lok family villages in southern China. WA governor Gary Locke's grandfather settled in Olympia as a teenager from China in 1890. There is no more Chinatown in Olympia
