TIL there's a Japanese children's book called "Chirin no Suzu" (Chirin's Bell) about a lamb seeking revenge for a wolf killing his mother. The story is based on the author's (Takashi Yanase) experiences in World War 2. A film adaptation of the book was made in 1978 by Sanrio.
