TIL in 1952 after a good samaritan helped capture notorious bank robber Willie Sutton, NYC Mob Boss Albert Anastasia ordered the man dead after watching an interview with him on TV saying “I can’t stand squealers! Hit that guy!”. The man was killed a few days later. Sutton had no Mob connections
