TIL that on a training sortie and under radio silence, a Sea Harrier pilot lost all contact with his flight and HMS Illustrious. Using the radar, he navigated to the only ship in the area and landed the harrier atop of some cargo containers. Ship, aircraft and pilot arrived in Portugal 4 days later.
