TIL about Izecksohn's Brazilian treefrog (Xenohyla truncata), the only known frugivorous frog species. It feeds on fruit, seeds, pods, pulp flowers and arthropods. It locates the fruit and simply snaps it, swallowing it whole. They eat insects just like any other frog when fruits are unavailable.
