TIL about the 21 month long Jubilee line corruption trial, the longest jury trial in UK history. 2 jurors were discharged for personal reasons. One was promised she would be able to get married and go on honeymoon which were cancelled. The trial ended (with acquittals) when a juror “went on strike”.
