TIL that the world’s oldest drawing is a Stone Age crayon doodle drawn on rock in a South African cave dated at 73,000 years old. The drawing is a four-centimeter-long pebble criss-crossed with nine lines. The lines appear to have been drawn with an ochre crayon, a type of clay rich in iron oxide.
