TIL that the movie, Scooby Doo (2002) was aiming for a PG-13 rating. Shaggy was set to be a stoner, and there were a lot of marijuana references. However this was changed to be "family friendly." In 2017, the 15th anniversary of the release of the film, it revealed there was an R-rated cut of it.
