TIL that the British band The Zombies split before their song "Time of the Season" became a hit in the U.S. in 1969, so a promoter put together two bands and sent them on tour as The Zombies. One of the fake Zombies included Frank Beard and Dusty Hill, who later became two-thirds of ZZ Top.
