TIL In 1936, Japanese Prime Minister Keisuke Okada was nearly assassinated in an attempted coup. The assassins stormed his residence and killed a man they identified as Okada by comparing the dead man’s face to a picture of their intended target. The dead man was actually Okada’s brother-in-law.
