TIL Mel Blanc, who voiced most of the Looney Tunes characters, was in a coma after a car accident in 1961. Calling his name did nothing to wake him up. After 14 days in the coma, a doctor asked Mel “Bugs, can you hear me?” He woke up from the coma, and responded as Bugs Bunny, “Yeah, what’s up doc?”
