TIL in 1984 McDonald's introduced the McDLT which sold in a specially designed two-sided container that kept the hamburger "hot" while keeping the lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, and sauces "cool". It was discontinued in the early 90's as McDonald's moved away from polystyrene packaging.
