TIL The Star Wars (1977) attack run scene was heavily influenced by the Dam Busters (1955) bombing run (based on the true story of a low flying bombing run, deep in Axis territory, amidst enemy fire, with a very narrow target window to hit a weak point in enourmous enemy targets. Sound familiar?).
