TIL Hawaii is the birthplace of the Modern Chinese Revolution because Sun Yat-sen established the Revived China Society to overthrow the Qing Dynasty there. His brother Sun Mei was one of the wealthiest Chinese in Hawaii and sold all of his properties and businesses to support the Revolution
