TIL John Cazale, “Fredo” from “The Godfather” was one of Al Pacino’s best friends. While filming “The Deer Hunter” with Deniro, Cazale was literally dying of Cancer. He only appeared in 5 feature films, all of which were nominated for best picture, 3 of them won.
