TIL what I was taught is wrong. The pigment primary colors are not Red Yellow Blue. Red & Green are not complementary. Red's complement is Cyan, because Cyan pigment perfectly absorbs red light. The pigment primaries are cyan magenta and yellow, opposite of the light primaries Red, Green, and yellow
