TIL in 1986 an American woman, Judith Richardson Haimes, who worked as a psychic had an allergic reaction after receiving an iodine tracer injection (for a CAT scan) that allegedly disabled her psychic powers. She sued the hospital and was awarded $600,000 for pain and suffering and loss of income.
