TIL Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is in Dauphin County. It was named Dauphin to thank France for the help in the Revolutionary War. A Dauphin is the heir to the French Throne. Sadly the young prince Louis Joseph died of tuberculosis 4 years later and his parents lost their heads shortly after.
