TIL that on June 29, 1841 William and John Driscoll were executed by a firing squad comprised of 111 "Regulators". The two men were part of a group of loose-knit outlaw gangs known as the Banditti of the Prairie which terrorize Northern Illinois during the early to mid-19th century.
