TIL a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle baseball card, graded at a 9.5/10, sold for $12.6 million at auction in 2022. Making it the most ever paid for any sports item, card or memorabilia. The card was originally discovered in an attic in the 80's by the son of a reported driver of Topps product in the 50's.
