TIL the 1969 movie "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" was nominated for a total of 9 Oscars including directing, screenplay, editing, music and 3 out of 4 acting awards. Yet, it somehow wasn't nominated for Best Picture. It still holds the record for most nominations without one for Best Picture.
