TIL that a town in the UK, Berwick-upon-Tweed, was still technically at war with Russia until 1966 when a Russian diplomat and the Mayor signed a peace treaty. The Mayor told the diplomat: “You can tell the Russian people that they can now sleep peacefully in their beds”.
