TIL that the Goseck Circle, a neolithic structure in Germany has entrances that align with the sunrise and sunset on both the winter and summer solstice. It was built around 4,900 BC making it nearly 7,000 old. This makes it older than Newgrange in Ireland and Stonehenge in England.
