TIL the pan flute originated from Ancient Greece, and according to the mythology, the god, ‘Pæn’ or known in modern day as ‘Pan’ wove it out of river weeds, as his love interest transformed/ was transformed into one. The flute is also known as a ‘syrinx’, which was his interests’ name.
