TIL Robert Schneider, leader of popular indie band The Apples in Stereo, and producer of Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea dropped out of college without taking math. He later took up math for fun, going as far as getting his PHD from Emory. He's now left music completely to teach.
