TIL CSPAN Presidential Historians Survey from 2000-2017 consistently rank the top 3 GOAT U.S. presidents as Lincoln, Washington, and FDR. The worst ranked president was James Buchanan. Lincoln, Washington, FDR scored highest in Crisis Leadership, Moral Authority, and Public Persuasion respectively
