TIL The world records for women's and men's discus throw is held by two East Germans. Furthermore the woman's world record, held by Gabriele Reinsch, is 76.80m making it 2.72m further than the men's world record, held by Jürgen Schult, which is 74.08m. (Note: a woman's discus is lighter 1kg vs. 2kg)
