TIL Detective Conan was originally about a crime solving cat that gestured the solution to a detective. Also Conan Edogawa, is derived from the names of Arthur Conan Doyle and Edogawa Ranpo, both classic mystery writers, the editors had issues with name because of Future Boy Conan's popularity.
