TIL that in World War II, the German troops used a tool that made their Sturmgewehr shoot curved bullets, called the Krummlauf. They came in angles of 30,45,60, and even 90, with 45 succeeding in numbers the most due to the bullets exploding out of the Krummlauf in the other angles.
