TIL Captain Robert Piché successfully piloted an emergency landing of his airplane when both engines failed on a trans-Atlantic flight. The plane also lost hydraulic power to the flaps, alternate brakes, and spoilers. He landed the plane in the Azores, saving the lives of all 306 people on board.
