TIL Ernesto Miranda, the plaintiff in the Supreme Court case Miranda v. Arizona, was killed in a bar fight. A suspect who allegedly handed the knife to the murderer was questioned. But he invoked his Miranda rights and refused to talk to police, and was released with no charges.
