TIL that the late Dean Of Game Shoe Hosts, Bill Cullen, was pilot in the Army Air Forces during WW II. What made this feat so amazing is that he was disabled due to contracting polio at the age of 18 months and a drastic automobile accident in 1937. Because of this, he was stationed stateside.
