TIL: Cartoonist, Mike Diana, whose comics often dealt with sexuality, violence and religion, was the first person in the United States to receive a criminal conviction for "Artistic Obscenity". The court also ruled that Diana was to submit to warrant-less searches, by police and the Salvation Army.
