TIL The production manager to 'Goonies' and 'Deliverance' retired from show business to pursue a dream to hand out bibles in exotic countries and help people in need. He sold his house to custom make a boat to hold a load of bibles. In 2011 he and his wife were shot and killed by Somali pirates.
