TIL the Atari 2600 (1977) only had 128 bytes of RAM (0.000128 MB), a 1.19 MHz CPU, and only supported games up to 4 kilobytes. To get games larger than 4 KB, the ROM had to be split into 4 KB "pages" that the program could flip between like pages in a book, allowing the console to access more data.
