TIL the gerenuk or giraffe gazelle (Litocranius walleri) is a long-necked antelope found in arid areas of eastern Africa. Primarily a browser, gerenuks forage on leaves and fruits, sometimes even standing on their hind legs and elongating their necks to feed. Male gerenuks have lyre-shaped horns.
