TIL the 1928 adaptation of "Noah's Ark" had a flood scene that killed 3 actors. The original cut of the film, which included footage of the 3 actors drowning in the flood, is lost. Also, a young John Wayne can be seen struggling to stay above the water in the scene (it was one of his first roles.)
