TIL that a tame and friendly Beluga whale speculated to be an escaped Russian spy was released from a harness in Norway by villagers in 2019 and has lived there ever since. Russia didn't confirm or deny this claim, but said the nearby naval base made it a possibility. He's still alive and well.
