TIL that the NYPD has a special beekeeping unit that was established in 2010 when beekeeping became legal in the city. In the last few weeks, they've relocated over 40,000 honeybees to orchards around the state. They most recently relocated 8,000 bees who swarmed 3 World Trade Center.
