TIL that in 2008, Tim McLean was beheaded and cannibalised while riding a bus in Canada. The perpetrator, Vince Li, spent seven years in mental hospital, and was released in 2015, to a group home. He was granted a discharge in 2017. One of the first officers on the scene later committed suicide.
