Today I learned that during the Paria delta p incident that did happen on February 2022, the five commercial divers were sucked into the 30’’ pipeline at a mean velocity of about 3,3 m/s (10.8 ft/s) and stopped sliding when they were at about 200 m (656 ft) from the riser elbow.
