TIL that Quintus Servilius Caepio was a Roman statesman and general during the Roman Republic. Who after causing the Romans to lose the Battle of Arausio tried to blame Gnaeus Mallius Maximus, before stealing a vast amount of gold and silver from the Roman treasury, known as the "Gold of Tolosa."
