TIL a British soldier spent most of WW1 hiding in a wardrobe. A French family in German occupied France had taken him in, however 16 German soldiers were then billeted at the residence, spending their time in the same room as the wardrobe. Everyday he was silent and still to avoid being detected.

He allegedly planned and ordered the hit in retaliation for his late nephew, Orlando Anderson, being beaten in a casino earlier that night. He's reportedly the last surviving participant of Shakur's murder.

He used different titles but changed little besides names and locations. Most of the publishers rejected the manuscripts, and only one recognized them as Austen's.
