TIL that cats can have hypersomnia disorders (narcolepsy, cataplexy) just as humans do. It's harder to diagnose due to cats usual 16-20hrs/day sleep cycle, and it's as rare as in humans, but did you ever see your cat falling asleep in a middle of something?
