Today I learned about Sensory Specific-Satiety - a mental phenomenon that refers to the declining satisfaction generated by the continuous consumption of a certain type of sensory stimulation, i.e food, and the consequent renewal in appetite resulting from the exposure to a new flavor or stimulus.
